There is a first blog for everything

- So I know everyone likes to start their first blog out with, "This is my first time blogging", "I've never blogged before", "Blogging is soooo neat!!!", blog diddy blog blog blog. Then their blog reduces to a list of stuff that happened during their day as in: "So I got up this morning and let the dog out. And then I drank some milk, but it was sour and clumpy, and I threw up and then I went to work, and I don't have a life...........". Yes I know, a blog can be a journal or a diary. But come on people, do I need to know that you stubbed your toe into the bathroom door as you made your way into the kitchen to get coffee?

- What's interesting is that the idea of a journal has come a long way. For example, George Washington didn't write in his journal, (at least not that I have read), that "I accidentally dropped my wooden teeth into the horse trough, and Elizabeth Hamfrey mouthed off to the preacher, and....". He wrote about the important events of his journey and\or day, and even gave his opinion sometimes on the events that transpired. I wonder now what good ole' George's blog would be like. Most probably much better than this one.

- And yes, I was a bit harsh above when I typed " and I don't have a life.....". However, if the best thing you can write about every day is the bromidic, trivial goings of the day then am I really being that harsh? But then again the person with no life never realizes that they have no life because they think they have a life. Make sense? And since I think I have a minor bit of a life, then I probably don't have a life at all. Yeah I'm confused too. Moving on...

- I'm an average guy who makes a decent, yet not fantastic, living in IT (but I do feel blessed and thank God for it) as a _________ _________. Oh that's right, I'm not giving out specifics. Kind of want keep the old blog specific-free about the personal details so that there is no retribution when I discuss the technology situations my employer uses. So I'm in IT and I want to use this blog as my own little soapbox for new\old\anything in between IT items. And maybe try to teach the masses with a bit of translation between geek speak and how everyone else talks. BTW(By the way): IT stands for Information Technology and is the genre or department of technology in business.

-----The following section is no longer relevant to the current format of the blog, but left in for historical purposes----

- I also wouldn't mind speaking my mind on how things are going in the world. Not a rant on everything that is wrong with everthing, (and don't get me started), but comments that seek to challenge, and maybe my own opinion as well since the Constitution states I'm entitled to one.

- So starts my political view portfolio all filleted out on the web. Here's my background. Yes, I profess to be a Christian, and not a perfect one mind you, (Side note: If anyone ever claims to be a Christian, but can't seem to do any wrong, they probably need to revaluate what they believe in.) but a Christian who believes in the Original King James Bible and does his best to follow God's word. Okay, by now, the back button has been clicked by many who started reading my first blog. But that's okay. Because I'm not here to force my beliefs on anyone else.

- Also, my political views would probably be labeled conservative-ish, although I don't always believe in what the right wing is doing either. Okay, so there go many more clicks of the Back button. Who am I kidding, there will probably only be three people who accidentally get to this blog, so I'm exagerrating a little. I only politically agree with something if it makes sense and is in agreeance with God's word. You'd be surpised at how much the Bible can be used even in today's society, well especially in today's society (there I go already), to make the hard choices and decisions we face in our lifetime.

- I plan, (notice that small little word "plan") to update my blog atleast once a week, although I'm shooting for three times a week. And as for updating daily, there are the little things like a job, the fam, bills, bills, bills, bills, (sorry, I started in a downward spiral there for a sec), and other things in general that take up precious time. So if you don't see a post for a while, don't worry (as if anyone is going to keep up with or even read this blog anyway), I will eventually post. Trust me, my OCD will kick in and I'll be blogging again in no time.

- So there it is. My first big blog post. Nothing fancy, no big crowds, no celebrities, and no climatic ending. Just a blog.
